Zach Beecher

Director of Operations

Zach Beecher is the Chief Operations Officer of C5 Accelerate, the early-stage venture arm and startup accelerator of the global technology investment firm, C5, as well as a Civil Affairs Officer in the U.S. Army Reserves. Previously, Zach was Director of C5 Philanthropy where he developed veterans training, counter corruption, and counter-trafficking programs designed to use tech as a tool for good. Zach is also one of three representatives of the United States of America for the Global Governance Future Fellows program at the Global Public Policy Institute of the Bosch Foundation.

Before the private sector, Zach served with the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. A recipient of the Bronze Star, Zach deployed as the lead advisor for logistics in support of combat operations to liberate Mosul, Iraq. Passionate about understanding and guiding organizations through complex problems, Zach earned master’s degrees from the University of Cambridge and King’s College London as a Rotary Foundation Fellow studying strategy in both a foreign and domestic policy context. Zach graduated from Princeton University in 2013 with a BA in Public Policy focusing on national security in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
