A seasoned tech executive with a proven track record of building A-player teams to deliver exponential growth for private equity/venture capital-backed companies in international markets. Khaled currently leads international operations for Accela – a US-based global leader in cloud-based government software – and has partnered with governments in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions to deliver some of the most impactful digital transformation initiatives across federal, state, and local government.

Prior to joining Accela, Khaled was a Partner at Ithmar Capital, a Dubai-based private equity firm, where he was responsible for post-acquisition portfolio management and served on the boards of seven companies—during his tenure at Ithmar, the Harvard Business School published a case study describing its rise as a pioneer in the international private equity space. Ithmar was later listed on the Dubai Financial Market as Amanat, which became its region's largest integrated healthcare and education investment company. Khaled also held a number of management roles at leading multinational companies, including Ernst & Young, Cap Gemini, and Boeing.

Khaled holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Boston University and a master’s degree in business administration from the Edinburgh Business School. He is a volunteer mentor at Endeavor.org and was also the founder and former president of the Boston University Alumni Association (Middle East chapter)
