Bill Nixon

Bill Nixon is the CIO and Director of the Department of Technology and Innovation for Johnson County, Kansas, where he has been employed since June 2019. He oversees over 140 employees and his team supports over 4,300 users across 28 departments and 19 local entities. Prior to Johnson County, he held IT leadership positions at UMB Bank, DST Systems, Fannie Mae, and American Management Systems. Bill holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh and is a co-inventor of a patent for a "System and method for processing data pertaining to financial assets". He lives in Leawood, Kansas with his family.
